Kara Kingsward-Hughes has been in the performing arts industry since she was 18 months old - her first professional role being in a nappy advert!

More recently Kara has adorned our TV screens, not only in the UK but also as a full time presenter on US TV channel Rocks TV. She has toured as the presenter of the children's TV show Barney, is presenting Open Mic UK and TeenStar UK and has interviewed many A-list celebrities in private interviews and on the red carpet, including Tom Cruise, Emma Thompson, Arnold Schwarzwenegger, James McAvoy and Dexter Fletcher.

Having attended The Morgan Academy of Performing Arts and Tiffany Theatre College, in her teens she played lead and supporting roles in many professional and amateur shows from the age of 4 to the present day. These include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Grace in Annie, Ngana in South Pacific, Columbine in Pinocchio, Linda in Blood Brothers, Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors and many other roles.

Recently on stage Kara played the role of Beauty in the pantomime version of Beauty and the Beast opposite Coronation Street star Oliver Mellor and Snow White in the pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, she received rave reviews for both. Last year Kara is returned to the role of Beauty in Beauty and the Beast opposite TV Presenter Rav Wilding where once again she received rave reviews.

She has also appeared in a number of TV commercials, newspaper and magazine adverts and various photo shoots including Cheerios (TV ad'), Johnson and Johnson (online ad) PC Ace (magazine front cover), Juliet (Romeo & Juliet) in the Times Educational Supplement, Corioliss Pro hair straighteners (Asian TV), Fitness Belt (Asian TV), Mobile phone (cinema), a 10 page feature in Photo Plus magazine and is the face of Beko 2016-2017 as well as many others across all forms of media.

Kara is also a beauty pageant queen and for a number of months starred as Princess Snow White at Disneyland Paris.

You can also see Kara in music videos such as MC Harvey's 'Excuse me', DMT 'Standing Strong' Mr Probz 'Nothing really matters' and Splurge 'Mad Hard Fresh’. These are just some of the music videos she has appeared in.

Kara was selected for the lead role of Sophie in the cult horror film '8ight Limbs - Affliction' - her 1st film role, and has since featured in many lead roles such as lead actress in the film 'James'. You can also see Kara in the My Space film 'The Town that Boars Me', Sophie in 'Monkeyshine', 'Clearskin' with Sean Bean and the film epic Les Miserables.
